Georgia Sun
I made love to Georgia,
sun streaming through her hair,
Kissed her neck
and laid her down
upon the forest floor.
We slept between the hillsides,
awoke to the pale glow of midnight
and stretched out our feet in the grass,
soaked with dew.
We picked our clothes down
out of the trees,
shook the magnolias
'til they rained.
I kissed her then,
covered in moonlight and cool water,
Held her,
Felt her pulse fight back the cold
as she looked into my eyes,
the look in her eyes
as she held me back.
